Calls of 2019 from "Section 1" and "Section 2" of PRIMA

The results of the 2019 Calls of the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Region (PRIMA) have now been released by the PRIMA Foundation.

In the "Section 1" Calls , supported by funds from the H2020 Framework Program, 18 proposals were selected. The Portuguese participation includes 14 entities in 6 proposals in total. Of particular note is the TRACE-RICE proposal, selected at Call for innovation actions under topic 1.3.1 of PRIMA's Research and Innovation Agenda (Implementation of analytical tools and digital technology to achieve traceability and authenticity control of traditional Mediterranean foods), coordinated by the National Institute for Agricultural and Veterinary Research (INIAV), I.P.

Under the single Call of "Section 2", 19 proposals were selected, plus 11 on the reserve list. In this Call based on national contributions, FCT will support the participation of 16 participating entities in 11 proposals. The proposals PulpIng and Nano4Fresh, coordinated by the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and the Higher Technical Institute of the University of Lisbon, respectively, stand out.
