Calls International Cooperation between Portugal and France

Until May 31, applications are open for two Calls international cooperation between Portugal and France, for the submission of joint research proposals. 

One of Calls carried out under the Pessoa Program, through the Portuguese-French Hubert Curien Program (PHC), managed in Portugal by FCT and in France by Campus France. The main objective of this Call to promote scientific and technological exchange of excellence between research laboratories in both countries. In the last two editions, this program funded 14 projects in the 2019/2020 biennium and 15 in 2020/2021.

The other Call the Cotutelas Pessoa Program, which seeks to support joint doctoral programs developed in partnership between a Portuguese institution and a French institution for the 2022-2024 triennium, covering all scientific areas.

These two programs are essentially intended to finance the mobility of researchers participating in the projects. In the case of the Pessoa Program, each project will be financed with €2,000 per year. In the Pessoa Cotutela Program, the total amount allocated per project is €12,000, distributed over three years (€2,000 per year for each country).
