International Conference Innovation for a Sustainable Ocean: Observatories and Knowledge Networks

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), in cooperation with the Portuguese Republic, will hold the international conference Innovation for a Sustainable Ocean: Observatories and Knowledge Networks . The conference will take place on February 14th, at the Auditorium of the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), in Algés.

This initiative is co-organised by the OECD, FCT and the Directorate-General for Maritime Policy (DGPM). It will be chaired by the Minister of the Sea, Ana Paula Vitorino, and the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor. The publication Rethinking Innovation for a Sustainable Ocean Economy, coordinated by the OECD and with the participation of FCT and DGPM, will be launched at the event.

Participation is free and registration is mandatory, subject to the number of places available.
