World Science Day for Peace and Development 2017

November 10 marks World Science Day for Peace and Development. Celebrated annually with the promotion of UNESCO, it aims to highlight the role of science in building a better world.

This year, "Science for Global Understanding" was the theme chosen for reflection. This motto is part of UNESCO's approach to developing scientific cooperation between and within societies, combining global sustainability with local work and knowledge.
