The 2021 edition of International Open Access Week runs from October 25 to 31. This is a global event with activities on a local scale, which aims to disseminate open access to knowledge. It has been promoted since 2007 by SPARC (Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition).
The theme of this year's International Open Access Week is "It Matters How We Open Knowledge: Building Structural Equity".
As in previous years, the event can be followed on the official page or on the Facebook page of the Portuguese Open Access Scientific Repositories (RCAAP).
