Meeting 'Digital Publishing in Open Science: Paths and Opportunities

The digital edition of scientific journals and the difficulties and challenges, now and in the future, for this type of support for publications are some of the topics for debate at the meeting "Digital Edition in Open Science: Paths and Opportunities" which will be held in Lisbon. The meeting will take place on September 6, from 9:00 am, at the Thalia Theater, and is aimed at the community of editors of scientific journals, researchers, librarians and all those interested in the topic.

The program of the initiative counts with the participation of Jean-Claude Burgelman, Head of Unit Open Data Policy and Science Cloud and Chair of DG RTD Taskforce on Open Science, as keynote speaker.

This meeting is a joint organization of the Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education with the Foundation for Science and Technology and the Directorate-General for Education and Science Statistics, under the Open Science initiative.
