"Europe's Future: Open Innovation, Open Science, Open to the World"

The European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Carlos Moedas, presented the publication "Europe's Future: Open Innovation, Open Science, Open to the World" this Monday, May 15, in Brussels, which is a reflection document on the future of research and innovation policy in the European Union.

The publication focuses on the analysis of how open science, open innovation and openness to the world can create a European impact in terms of innovation performance, growth and international competitiveness. The document was prepared by the Research, Innovation and Science Policy Experts (RISE), a group that provides strategic advice to the Commissioner on aspects related to the formulation and implementation of policies under its competence, and can be consulted here.
