On Monday, May 15, in Brussels, the European Commissioner for Research, Science, and Innovation, Carlos Moedas, presented the publication "Europe's Future: Open Innovation, Open Science, Open to the World," which is a reflection document on the future of research and innovation policy in the European Union.
The publication focuses on the analysis and how open science, open innovation, and openness to the world are likely to have an impact on Europe in terms of innovation performance, growth, and international competitiveness. The document was prepared by Research, Innovation and Science Policy Experts (RISE), a group that provides strategic advice to the Commissioner on aspects related to the formulation and implementation of policies under his competence, and can be consulted here.
