"Europe's Future: Open Innovation, Open Science, Open to the World"

The European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Carlos Moedas, presented this Monday, May 15, in Brussels, the publication "Europe's Future: Open Innovation, Open Science, Open to the World", which consists of a reflection document on the future of research and innovation policy in the European Union.

The publication focuses on the analysis of how open science, open innovation and openness to the world can have a European impact on innovation performance, growth and international competitiveness. The document was prepared by the Research, Innovation and Science Policy Experts (RISE), a group that provides strategic advice to the Commissioner on aspects of policy formulation and implementation within its remit, and is available here.
