FCT participates in Qualifica 2018

 The FCT, in close collaboration with the scientific community, will be present at another edition of Qualifica – Education, Training, Employment, and Youth Fair, which will take place from March 1 to 4 at Exponor, in Matosinhos.

This year, the fair is dedicated to the theme "Love the planet." As in previous years, FCT is participating in the stand run by POCH (Human Capital Operational Program), which co-finances several Studentships by the Foundation.

Participation in this initiative raises awareness of the science and technology produced in the country and sensitizes visitors to the importance of advanced training in these areas. The Foundation therefore invited the Research Units to participate with their doctoral students so that they could present their projects and work firsthand and convey their vision of science and the role of scientists and researchers in society.

FCT PhD scholarship holders from the following institutions will be present at Qualifica 2018:

• Lab2PT – Laboratory of Landscapes, Heritage, and Territory, University of Minho
• Dom Luiz Institute, University of Lisbon
• CEiiA – Center for Engineering and Product Development
• ITQB – António Xavier Institute of Chemical and Biological Technology, New University of Lisbon
