FCT participates in Qualifica 2018

 The FCT, in close collaboration with the scientific community, will be present at another edition of Qualifica - the education and training, employment and youth fair, which will be held from March 1 to 4 at Exponor in Matosinhos.

This year's fair is dedicated to the theme "Love the planet". As in previous years, FCT is taking part in the stand run by POCH (Human Capital Operational Program), which is co-financing various Studentships awarded by the Foundation.

Participation in this initiative makes it possible to showcase the science and technology produced in the country and to make visitors aware of the importance of advanced training in these areas. The Foundation has therefore invited the Research Units to participate with their doctoral students, so that they can present their projects and work in the first person and convey their vision of science and the role of scientists and researchers in society.

FCT doctoral fellows from the following institutions will be present at Qualifica 2018:

• Lab2PT - Landscapes, Heritage and Territory Laboratory, University of Minho
• Dom Luiz Institute, University of Lisbon
• CEiiA - Center of Engineering and Product Development
• ITQB - António Xavier Institute of Chemical and Biological Technology, New University of Lisbon
