Final Results of the 2016 Call for PhD Studentships and Post-Doctoral fellowships

1253 scholarships have been attributed in the 2016 Call for PhD Studentships and Post-Doctoral fellowships. 53 scholarships have been attributed during appeals, which resulted in a total of 820 PhD Studentships and 433 Post-Doc Fellowships attributed in that Call.

Scholarships are a subsidy given to researchers to allow the dedication to scientific and technological activities on an exclusive basis. The awarding process has several phases between application and results. Once applications are submitted and their eligibility has been verified, proposals are vetted separately by two senior researchers by panel. Whenever necessary, experts external to the panels are also invited to vet specific proposals. Results were published on 31 January, and applicants with unfavourable decisions had 10 days to appeal.

Results by evaluation panel are available here.
