New FCT Studentships Regulations

The FCT has approved its new Studentships Regulations, which can be consulted here.

In accordance with the recent Decree-Law No. 123/2019, of August 28, which updated several provisions of the Research Scholarship Statute (EBI), it became necessary, pursuant to Article 4 of the EBI, to update the FCT Studentships Regulations, which govern the selection, hiring, and legal regime applicable to all research fellows funded directly or indirectly by the FCT.

The previous Regulation had not been updated for more than four years, and the changes now introduced are intended to make the procedure more flexible and simplify its administrative processing.
