New FCT Research Regulation Studentships

FCT has approved its new Regulations for Research Studentships , which can be found here.

According to the recent Decree-Law No. 123/2019, of August 28, which updated several provisions of the Research Grant Holder Statute (EBI), it became necessary, under article 4 of the EBI, to update the FCT Research Grants Regulation ( Studentships ), which regulates the selection, hiring and legal regime applicable to all research grant holders, funded directly or indirectly by FCT.

The previous regulation had not been updated for over 4 years, and the changes now introduced are intended to make the procedure more flexible and simplify its administrative processing.
