Portugal's Participation in Horizon 2020 and Prospects for FP9

Next Monday, February 20th, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the National Innovation Agency (ANI) will hold an event to assess the Portuguese participation in Horizon 2020, and to discuss the national position for the next European funding framework program for Research and Innovation - FP9.
The event includes the participation of the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, the European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Carlos Moedas, and the President of the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Science, Alexandre Quintanilha. During the session the performance of national entities in Horizon 2020 will be presented, as well as examples of good practices under this Framework Programme.
The event takes place on February 20, at the Great Amphitheater of the IST Congress Center, at 4:30 PM.
