FCT/Latin Union Award for Scientific and Technical Translation in Portuguese

The award ceremony for the Scientific and Technical Translation Prize in Portuguese took place on September 26 at the Faculty of Letters in Lisbon.
In this 20th edition, the award was given ex-aequo to the works "Da Arte Edificatória" (On Building) by Leon Battista Alberti, translated by Arnaldo do Espírito Santo, and "Consolação da Filosofia" (The Consolation of Philosophy) by Boethius, translated by Luís M. G. Cerqueira, both published by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Education and Studentships Service), and also to the title "O percurso desde A Estrutura" (The Path from The Structure) by Thomas S. Kuhn, translated by Ana Sampaio and published by Porto Editora. The prize is worth €7,500.
