Pulido Valente Science 2020 Award

FCT and the Professor Francisco Pulido Valente Foundation announce that the application period for the Pulido Valente Science Prize 2020 is open until September 30th, 2020. This year, the projects submitted must be under the theme "Tumors as ecosystems of clones and cells: therapeutic implications", describing the results of research conducted by a researcher in a national R&D institution and without restriction of year of publication.

Applications are open to all researchers under the age of 35 at the time of application and the prize to be awarded is 10,000 euros. The evaluation will be carried out by a jury of recognized merit, chaired by Carlos Caldas, from the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute.

The Pulido Valente Science Prize is awarded every year and aims to distinguish the best paper published in the field of Biomedical Sciences. This award results from the protocol established between FCT and the Professor Francisco Pulido Valente Foundation.
