Traineeships for Associate Engineers at CERN, ESA, ESO and EMBL: applications now open

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) opened Calls for the allocation of 20 Studentships internships at four international scientific organizations: the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Southern Observatory (ESO) and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL). Interested parties can formalize applications until November 30, 2019, in the case of CERN internships, and until December 16, 2019, for internships at ESA, ESO and EMBL.

Internships are intended for candidates with a degree or master's degree – with a degree obtained less than 6 years ago – and PhDs – with a degree obtained less than 3 years ago – in scientific areas relevant to the scope of the organizations' activities. These training opportunities have a maximum duration of two years and are carried out under agreements concluded by FCT with CERN, ESA, ESO and EMBL.
