New features of the MyFCT system facilitate the management of Studentships
The FCT has introduced new features to the MyFCT system, designed to simplify interaction between the FCT and researchers who have Studentship been awarded a Studentship . This measure means that scholarship holders can now manage everything related to their Studentships in one place, from application to completion.
These new features are an integral part of the future Science Desk, an initiative included in measure RE-C05-i08 – “More Digital Science” of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). With the simplification of processes for all involved, requests that until now were made by email, such as renewals, subsidies, and parental leave, among others, will now be made exclusively through the MyFCT system. It is possible to request opinions from Studentship advisors, automatically obtain statements proving scholarship status, and find out, in real time, what is happening with the management of the respective Studentship funding, while maintaining total confidentiality for all parties involved.
