Agroecology Partnership launches pre-announcement of first Call project funding
The Agroecology Partnership has just launched the pre-announcement for the first Call project funding, with the theme "Fostering agroecology at farm and landscape levels." The objective of this Call to fund transdisciplinary research and innovation (R&I) projects that address the agroecological transition of conventional and organic agricultural systems.
The two-stage Call will open in February 2024, on a date to be announced. The first stage, for the submission of pre-proposals, will run until April. Pre-proposals invited to submit full proposals may do so in the second stage, until September next year.
According to the Call preliminary announcement, projects should study and implement agroecology on two geographical scales:
- of exploitation and its immediate surroundings (theme 1);
- landscape or territorial (theme 2).
Proposals should demonstrate a multidisciplinary and integrated approach following a multisectoral perspective and a European and global vision. R&I questions will address the real needs of stakeholders involved in co-creation processes, together with end users, and will integrate their practical knowledge.
More information about the Call will be available soon Call theFCT website.
