Agroecology Partnership launches first Call for project funding

The Agroecology Partnership has just launched the pre-announcement for its first Call for project funding, with the theme "Fostering agroecology at farm and landscape levels". The aim of this Call is to fund transdisciplinary research and innovation (R&I) projects that address the agroecological transition of conventional and organic agricultural systems.
The two-stage Call will open in February 2024, on a date to be decided. The first phase, for the submission of pre-proposals, will run until April. Pre-proposals invited to submit full proposals will be able to do so in the second phase, until September next year.
According to the Call Proposals, the projects must study and implement agroecology on two geographical scales:
- and its immediate surroundings (theme 1);
- landscape or territory (theme 2).
Proposals should show a multidisciplinary and integrated approach following a multisectoral perspective and a European and global vision. The R&I questions will address the real needs of the stakeholders involved in co-creation processes, together with the end users, and will integrate their practical knowledge.
More information about the Call will soon be available on the FCT website.
More information and contacts can be found on the Partnership page (available soon) and on the FCT page dedicated to the Agroecology partnership.
