Partnership between Europe and Developing Countries for the Conduct of Clinical Trials

Portugal is a founding member of EDCTP and is also a member of the new European Global Health Partnership program EDCTP3, represented by FCT and the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation (AICIB).

 The2024 work programhas a budget of €140 million to fund collaborative research and innovation projects on topics related to infectious diseases and to support activities aimed at developing research capacities in Africa.

On February 7, 2024, AICIB and FCT will hold a remote information session on the Calls planned for 2024 and how to apply. The session will be open to the public, but priorregistrationis required.
