National position on the next Research and Innovation Framework Program is open to contributions

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation (MECI) is drafting a National Position on the next Research and Innovation Framework Program(FP10), which will succeed Horizon Europe in the period 2028-34.

To this end, a preliminary version has already been prepared, with the support of the FCT, the National Innovation Agency, the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation, and the Portuguese Space Agency. This document takes into account the recentLetta,Draghi, and Heitor reports, as well asposition papersalreadypublishedby other countries, associations, and organizations.

Using this first draft of the document as a reference, the MECI launched a questionnaire to gather commentson each of its sections, as well as other considerations regarding the future Framework Program.
