The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MECI) is drafting a National Position on the next Framework Program for Research and Innovation (FP10), which will succeed Horizon Europe in the period 2028-34.

To this end, a preliminary version has already been prepared, with the support of the FCT, the National Innovation Agency, the Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation Agency and the Portuguese Space Agency. This document takes into account the recent Letta, Draghi and Heitor reports, as well as position papers already published by other countries, associations and organizations.

With this first version of the document as a reference, the MECI launched a questionnaire to collect comments on each of its sections, as well as other considerations about the future Framework Program.

The preliminary version is available for download on the questionnaire page, which will be active until October 28, 2024 and can be accessed via the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/consulta-pt-position-paper-FP10
