João Monjardino 2023 Prize addresses "Mental Health: Clinical and Services Research
The João Monjardino Award 2023, which will be in its 3rd edition this year, will honour the best scientific article published on the subject "Mental Health: Clinical and Services Research". Applications are open until 29 September 2023, with a prize of €10,000.
Applications may be submitted for articles that have been published on the topic of the Call, without restriction on the year of publication, describing the results of research carried out at an institution of the national scientific and technological system, by a researcher under the age of 35 years at the time of submission of the application.
Candidates may submit a single original paper, which has been published or accepted for publication, duly verified, in a national or international journal of the speciality, and must be the first author or co-author, if recognized in the publication as having the same contribution as the first author.
Applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria: scientific quality of the article; relevance of the study and relevance of the results obtained under the theme of the Call; and the candidate's contribution to the work published or accepted for publication.
The João Monjardino Award was created in 2021, replacing the former Pulido Valente Award and resulting from the protocol signed between the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the Professor Francisco Pulido Valente Foundation.
