IC&DT Projects – Cooperation between Portugal and CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research)

The deadline for submitting applications for IC&DT Projects – Cooperation between Portugal and CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), promoted by FCT, is April 23.

The budget allocation is €2 million, financed by investment RE-C06-i06 – “Science Plus Training” from the PRR, and the Call promote innovative ideas by supporting IC&DT projects, which must fall within one of the following thematic or sectoral areas: computing for particle physics; experimental and theoretical particle and astroparticle physics; instrumentation for particle physics and technologies associated with experimental particle physics.

It should be noted that researchers affiliated with higher education institutions, R&D institutes and units, State Laboratories, Associate Laboratories international laboratories based in Portugal, private non-profit institutions whose main purpose is R&D activities, including Collaborative Laboratories (CoLab) and Technology and Innovation Centers (CTI), and other public and private non-profit institutions that develop or participate in scientific research activities. Funded projects will have a maximum duration of 24 months.

Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. (Mainland Portugal time) on April 23, 2024.
