Publication of FCT's "Inclusive Research Careers" Report under the GENDERACTIONplus Project

The "Inclusive Research Careers" report, prepared by FCT under the GENDERACTIONplus project - Gender Equality Network to Develop ERA Communities To Coordinate Inclusive and sustainable policy implementation, is now available for consultation.

GENDERACTIONplus is a consortium funded by the Horizon Europe Program, which includes 26 Member States and associated countries. Its aim is to support the coordination and integration of Gender Equality policies in the new European Research Area (ERA). In this context, it coordinates two networks, that of national policy authorities and that of research funding organizations committed to Gender Equality in Research and Innovation (R&I).

This project has been developed in the following areas: intersectionality and inclusion, gender-based violence, the gender dimension in R&I, monitoring and evaluation of actions for gender equality under the ERA, and promoting institutional change through Gender Equality Plans.

FCT leads the Task Force "Inclusive Research Careers", which is part of the Intersectionality and Inclusion domain, following the priority established in the context of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and materialized in the Council Recommendations on a European framework to attract and retain talent in the field of research, innovation and entrepreneurship in Europe.
