Pre-Announcement of Call 2023 for Water4All European Partnership projects published

The Pre-Announcement of the Joint Transnational Call 2023 of the Water4All Partnership - Water Security for the Planet for research and innovation projects on "Aquatic Ecosystem Services" has been published.

The Call will launch on 12 September and pre-proposals can be submitted until 13 November (3:00 PM CET). This initiative will support research and innovation projects to improve water management and security in the long term and in accordance with Water4All's strategic objectives. The results should contribute to the implementation of evidence-based water management policies and strategies at worldwide, EU and national levels.

Water4All - Water Security for the Planet runs from 2022-2027 and is a co-funded European partnership, developed under the Horizon Europe (HE) Framework Programme, which aims to pool efforts, mobilise resources and strengthen European leadership and competitiveness in water research and innovation. Portugal is one of the partners in this initiative, which also includes the participation of the European Commission.

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) represents Portugal at Water4All with the main objective of contributing to the internationalisation of the national scientific and technological community and to the alignment of Research and Development (R&D) programmes.
