Questionnaires on the use of national public marine data

The OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), in partnership with the DGPM (Directorate General of Sea Policy), the FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P.) and GOOS (Global Ocean Observing System), has two ongoing questionnaires on the use of national public marine data, which are directed to the community linked to the sea affairs, invited to respond to these questionnaires on the use of marine data available in national public data repositories. These questionnaires, which should help understand the social value of these data, gathering useful information to guide future policies, will be available for participation between December 19, 2022 and February 17, 2023.

One of the questionnaires is directed to users of physical and biogeochemical ocean data, or others, according to the SeaDataNet vocabulary and parameters. It can be accessed here (in Portuguese) and here (in English).

The other questionnaire is directed to users of the Sea Satellite Account or other socioeconomic data available in national public repositories. It can be accessed here (in Portuguese) and here (in English).

Completing the questionnaires should not take more than 15 minutes (each).
