The applications were evaluated by 33 evaluation panels in different scientific areas, with 557 evaluators affiliated with foreign institutions participating in the evaluation, representing 35 nationalities, 53% of whom were women. Each proposal was evaluated and classified according to the scientific merit and innovative nature of the project, the scientific merit of the research team, the feasibility of the work program, and the contribution to the accumulation of knowledge and skills. For each evaluation panel and for each type of project, a percentage of the total allocation for Call was calculated, according to the total amount of funding requested by the applications that obtained a project merit equal to or greater than 7, as provided for in the Call for Applications.
