Final Results from Call of IC&DT Projects in all Scientific Domains 2022

FCT has published the final results of the Call R&D Projects in All Scientific Domains - 2022. A total of 633 projects were approved for funding, corresponding to an investment of 75.6 million euros supported by national funds through the FCT budget. This Call was aimed at two types of projects: Scientific Research and Technological Development Projects (IC&DT), with a duration of 36 months and maximum funding per project of 250 thousand Euros, with a budget of 55 million Euros; and Exploratory Research Projects (PeX), with a duration of 18 months and maximum funding per project of 50 thousand Euros, with a budget of 20 million Euros.

The success rate of Call as a percentage of the total number of applications accepted for evaluation was 8.5% for IC&DT projects and 29.0% for exploratory projects. The overall success rate of Call, considering applications of both types, was 15.5%.
