Final Results of Call IC&DT Call Projects in all scientific domains for 2022

The FCT has published the final results ofCall R&DCall in All Scientific Fields – 2022. A total of 633 projects were approved for funding, corresponding to an investment of €75.6 million supported by national funds through the FCT budget. This Call aimed at two types of projects: Scientific research and technological development (IC&DT) projects, with a duration of 36 months and maximum funding per project of €250,000, with a budget of €55 million; and Exploratory research projects (PeX), with a duration of 18 months and maximum funding per project of €50,000, with a budget of €20 million.

The success rate of Call a percentage of the total number of applications accepted for evaluation was 8.5% for IC&DT projects and 29.0% for exploratory projects. The overall success rate of Call, considering applications of both types, was 15.5%.
