On September 15, the city of Luanda will host the closing seminar for the initiative “Attractive and Sustainable Research and Development Institutions,” funded by the European Union-Angola Dialogues program and jointly organized by FUNDECIT (Angola) and FCT.

The seminar, titled “Building Sustainable and Attractive Research & Development (R&D) : The Transformative Potential of Evaluation Processes,” marks the conclusion of the project and aims to serve as a forum for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices, thereby contributing to the strengthening of cooperation and dialogue between Africa and Europe in the field of research and development.

The initiative will also make it possible to present the main results achieved as part of the project, including the mapping of Angola’s R&D institutions and the development of self-assessment and external evaluation manuals designed to support the evaluation of existing institutions and any new ones that may be established.

The seminar can be viewed online; no prior registration is required.
