SDGs in Science event

The FCT has made available online the videos of the sessions on "The Contribution of Science to Sustainable Development - People | Prosperity | Planet", which it organized on December 12, 2022 and January 17, 2023.

- Sitting of December 12, 2022

- Sitting of January 17, 2023

The aim of this event was to bring together researchers with projects that address relevant issues in the context of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in order to promote the transfer of knowledge to society and the creation of new partnerships and consortia with a view to developing the SDGs themselves.

The United Nations 2030 Agenda is an action plan with the aim of eradicating poverty and promoting sustainable development, involving and holding all states and other stakeholders accountable for its implementation. It is a universal agenda, based on 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets, which presupposes the integration of these SDGs into the policies, processes and actions developed at national, regional and global levels.
