SDG in Science Event

FCT published online the videos of the sessions under the theme "Contribution of Science to Sustainable Development People | Prosperity | Planet", which it organised on 12 December 2022 and 17 January 2023.

- Session of 12 December 2022

- Session of 17 January 2023

This event aimed to bring together researchers with projects that address relevant issues related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in order to enhance the transfer of knowledge to society and the creation of new partnerships and consortia for the development of the SDGs itself.

The United Nations 2030 Agenda is a plan of action to eradicate poverty and promote sustainable development, involving and holding all States and other stakeholders accountable in its implementation. It is a universal agenda, based on 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets, which presupposes the integration of these SDGs in policies, processes and actions developed at national, regional and global levels.
