STIP Compass 2025 now available with contribution from Portugal

The new edition of STIP Compass, the international platform of the OECD and the European Commission dedicated to mapping public policies on science, technology, and innovation (STI), was launched on October 21, 2025.

With more than 9,500 STI policy initiatives from over 60 countries, STIP Compass 2025 offers new features, including interactive dashboards , thematic portals, and data export tools. The platform aims to support policymakers, researchers, and international organizations in designing and analyzing evidence-based policies.

Portugal participated in this international exercise by submitting updated information on national STI policies as part of the EC-OECD STIP Survey 2025. The national response was the result of a collaborative effort between various public entities, coordinated by the FCT.
