A UK-Portugal dialogue: Tackling global challenges through collaboration

The British Embassy in Lisbon, PARSUK (Portuguese Association of Researchers and Students in the United Kingdom), and FCT, with the support of Ciência Viva, will host the event "A UK-Portugal Dialogue: Tackling Global Challenges through Collaboration" on December 12 at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento in Lisbon.

This session will feature the presentation of the report "PUMP 2023" – Mapping Scientific Collaborations between Portugal and the United Kingdom. There will also be a roundtable discussion on collaborations between Portugal and the United Kingdom in science and innovation, which will analyze recent developments in scientific collaborations and how joint efforts can effectively respond to common societal challenges and opportunities.

The event will be held in English and FCT will be represented by Madalena Alves, President of the Foundation for Science and Technology.
