A team from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) participated on September 18 and 19 in Mamaia, in Romania, joining experts, policymakers, and other organizations from across Europe to co-create a common vision for the futureof foresightin Research and Innovation (R&I). This initiative is part of the European project "Eye of Europe," of which FCT is a member, and aims to consolidate and empower the European foresight community by promoting innovative and collaborative practices.

TheEye of Europeproject involves 17 organizations from 14 countries and its main objective is to empower and consolidate the EU foresight community. In addition to developing the Futures4Europe platform —the online home of the European foresight community, which aims to be a space for discussion and sharing for the EU foresight community— the project also aims to promote dialogue between organizations with foresight practices, exchange good practices (including the development of pilot projects in specific sectors), and promote "future literacy"—producing reviews of methodologies, training content, events, and building a vision for practices and consolidation of the EU foresight community.
