12th EDCTP Forum – Partnership between Europe and Developing Countries for Clinical Trials

The next edition of the EDCTP Forum – European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (12th EDCTP Forum) under the theme “Better Health through Global Research Partnerships” will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from June 15 to 20, 2025. The event is organized by the Rwandan Ministry of Health, the Rwanda Biomedical Center, and the EDCTP Association.

Every two years, EDCTP organizes an international conference on clinical research and strengthening clinical research capacities in Sub-Saharan Africa, including networking activities.

Portugal is a founding member ofEDCTPand is also a member of the new European Partnership program Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking , represented by the FCT and the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation (AICIB).

Within the scope of this Forum, the EDCTP invites the international community to submit abstracts and scientific symposia in the following thematic areas: Advancing biomedical innovations; Knowledge translation and implementation science for public health impact; Strengthening the research environment, research capacity, and scientific leadership; and Equitable and ethical research.

The deadline for submitting abstracts and scientific symposiums is February 23, 2025.
