New phase of applications open for Call 5th Call Advanced Computing Projects for A2 and A3 Access
The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) has opened new applications for Call 5th Call Advanced Computing Projects, aimed at A2 and A3 access. Applicants must submit their applications by 5:00 p.m. (Mainland Portugal time) on March 11, 2025. The initiative aims to consolidate Portugal as a relevant player in the European advanced computing landscape, offering opportunities for researchers and institutions to explore innovative computational resources.
This year's edition features a new development: a single form for submitting proposals for type A2 or A3 projects, whether through the fast track or the full process, simplifying the process for applicants. Each person in charge may submit one application for each type.
- Fast Track: Intended for projects that have undergone prior scientific evaluation within the last three years. Results are expected to be published in April 2025.
