The deadline for submitting applications for Studentships the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Program ( MSCFP) for the academic years 2023/24 and 2024/25 is currently open.

The Studentships for female students who wish to attend master's programs in the nuclear field at accredited universities and include the opportunity to undertake 12-month internships at the IAEA.

The objective of this program is to support young women studying in fields related to nuclear energy that are relevant to the work of the IAEA. It aims to promote the safe and peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology, such as nuclear engineering, nuclear physics and chemistry, nuclear medicine, isotopic techniques, radiation biology, nuclear safety, nuclear security, non-proliferation, and nuclear law.

The Marie Sklodowska-Curie Studentships Program (MSCFP) aims to help increase the number of women in the nuclear field by supporting an inclusive workforce of men and women who contribute to and drive global scientific and technological innovation.

Portugal has been a member of the IAEA since 1957, and the FCT promotes the participation of the national scientific and technological community in the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Studentships Program.
