Opening of Call of the European THCS Partnership

The European Partnership THCS – Transforming Health and Care Services has launched its third Joint Call for funding transnational Research and Innovation projects. Pre-proposals may be submitted until 1:00 p.m. (Mainland Portugal time) on January 30, 2025.

This Call, with the theme "Better care closer to home: improving primary and community care," involves 34 European and international funding agencies, including FCT, and aims to support projects on the following topics: Strengthening primary and community health and care systems and Systemic approaches to modernizing the primary and community care sector.

Co-funded under Horizon Europe, THCS aims to respond effectively to the growing burdens on European health and care systems and fulfill their shared commitment to providing high-quality health and care services.

This partnership brings together 64 partners from 26 member states, associated countries, and third countries, with the support of the European Commission. Portugal is represented by FCT, the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation (AICIB), and the Regional Coordination and Development Commission of the Center (CCDRC).
