Extension of the application deadline for the 8th edition of Call for Individual Scientific Employment Call (CEEC)

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) has extended the deadline for submitting applications for the 8th edition of Call Individual Scientific Employment Call (CEEC) to February 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. (Lisbon time). This extension is due to weather conditions that have affected several regions of the country and made it difficult to prepare and submit applications.

This Call the financing of 400 Scientific Employment contracts, supporting the hiring of early-career researchers for a maximum period of three years, in junior and assistant positions, with an estimated investment of around €63.5 million.

TheCEEC Individualis intended for PhD holders of any nationality or stateless persons with a background in any scientific field who wish to pursue scientific research or technological development in Portugal.
