Call Studentships for Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, and East Timor

The FCT is launching Call applications for Studentships in all scientific fields for researchers from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe – Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOP) – and Timor-Leste. This Call in close collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Higher Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in pursuit of, on the one hand, a public policy of advanced training based on socially relevant research and, on the other, a policy of active collaboration in this training context.

Each year, thirty Studentships will be awarded, distributed among the different countries: Angola (6 Studentships), Cape Verde (6 Studentships), Guinea-Bissau (6 Studentships), Mozambique (6 Studentships), São Tomé and Príncipe (4 Studentships), and East Timor (2 Studentships).

The Call open between November 22, 2023, and 11:59 p.m. (mainland Portugal time) on January 15, 2024.
