Cultural Heritage and Global Change: a new challenge for Europe

FCT assumes, since 2014, the national representation in the Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage and Global Change (JPI CH - Joint Programming Initiative Cultural Heritage and Global Change), having integrated the Coordination and Support Action of the JHEP2 Initiative - Joint Heritage European Programme, which ended in 2019.

To meet the JPI CH objectives of aligning strategic research and innovation agendas and leveraging national and EU R&D and infrastructure investments, Joint Transnational Calls (JTC) is launched.

This initiative has received funding under the 7th Framework Programme for JHEP (grant agreement no. 277606) and for HERITAGE PLUS (grant agreement no. 618 104) and from the European Union's research and innovation program Horizon 2020 for JHEP 2 (grant agreement no. 699523).
