  • It established February 15, 2023 as the reference date, from which the 12 months for counting the minimum periods of parental leave must be retroactively counted. This 12-month period therefore runs from February 16, 2022 to February 15, 2023, including both of these dates.

  • Yes. The leave may have started before February 16, 2022, provided that between February 16, 2022 and February 15, 2023, the minimum number of days required for each type of leave (120 or 72 days) is reached.

  • No. For eligibility purposes, the start dates of parental leave are not considered. Leave may begin before the 12-month time window (before February 16, 2022) and extend beyond February 15, 2023 (due to shared leave, extended leave, etc.).   • Yes, provided that in the time window period from February 16, 2022 to February 15, 2023 you reach a minimum of 120 days of parental leave or 72 days of shared parental leave.

  • Yes. All days taken from parental leave are counted toward RESTART-eligible parental leave periods.

  • Parental leave days can be taken consecutively or interspersed.

  • Yes, according to point 2 of Notice of the Call of the program.
