The 2021 edition of International Open Access Week will take place from October 25 to 31. This is a global event with local activities, which aims to promote free access to knowledge. It has been promoted since 2007 by SPARC (Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition).
This year's theme for International Open Access Week is "It Matters How We Open Knowledge: Building Structural Equity."
As in previous years, the event can be followed on the official website or Facebook page of the Portuguese Open Access Scientific Repositories (RCAAP).
