EUREKA Network holds the "Global Innovation Summit 2022" in Portugal

The EUREKA network, considered the world's largest public network for international cooperation in R&D and innovation, will hold the "Global Innovation Summit 2022"in Portugal on June 22 and 23 in Cascais. Registration closes on June 12, 2022.

This event comes as Portugal takes over the Presidency of the EUREKA network from July 2021 until June 30, 2022, seeking to maintain the tradition of bringing together global leaders, decision-makers, companies, and key research organizations to address the universal challenges of a constantly changing world.

The Atlantic will be one of the central themes of the event, in an integrated approach with the motto for the Portuguese Presidency of EUREKA: "Innovation for a Greener, Digital, and Healthier Planet." The focus will be on three areas—technology for a greener planet, digital transition, and strategy and policy-making—with the aim of discussing global concerns such as current and future environmental challenges, the health sector, and how to reduce inequality and contribute to economic and inclusive growth that is sustainable in the long term.

Portugal is one of the founding countries of the EUREKA network, established in 1985, which currently has more than 45 member countries.
