Stipend Amount for Research Studentships and Fellowships has been updated

The research studentships provided for in FCT’s Regulations for Studentships and Fellowships have been updated. The monthly stipends were raised in line with the inflation rate, as determined by the State Budget Law for 2019.

As a result of this update, the monthly stipend for the doctoral studentship has for the first time surpassed 1 000 euros. All the other studentships have also been updated. The new values are published here.

The updates will be paid retroactively to 1 January 2019. For scholarship holders directly funded by FCT, the update will begin to be paid between March and May 2019.
