FCT is organizing an informational session on the MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 call for proposals

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) will hold an informational session on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks 2026 call for proposals, for which the application deadline is November 24, 2026.

This session will take place exclusively online on July 1, starting at 10:00 a.m., and is expected to last one hour. Prior registration is required to participate.

The MSCA Doctoral Networks aim to fund consortia of institutions to implement international doctoral programs. This informational session will cover the following topics:

  • Characteristics and Types of MSCA Doctoral Networks
  • Eligibility requirements
  • Success Rates
  • Proposal Outline
  • Evaluation criteria
  • Budget

Funding secured by Portuguese institutions under this Horizon Europe program has been increasing steadily, reaching a total of 59.91 million euros, as shown by the data compiled for the period from 2021 to 2025:

The FCT is responsible for promoting the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions in Portugal, regularly holding information sessions and proposal-writing workshops. It is also responsible for representing Portugal on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Program Configuration Committee within the European Union.
