FCT promotes information session on Horizon Europe's Call
On March 19, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) will hold an online session in open office format dedicated to answering questions about the Call Twinning, part of the Horizon Europe – Widening & ERA program. The initiative will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on the Zoom platform.
The session is aimed especially at national entities that are in the final stages of preparing their applications (the deadline for submission is April 9, 2026), continuing the monitoring work that FCT has been carrying out since December with the Portuguese scientific community. The session can be accessed via the following link:

Call Twinning aims to strengthen scientific excellence in countries with lower performance in research and innovation by promoting strategic partnerships between European institutions. Over the last few months, the European Commission has also held several information sessions on the Widening program and Call Twinning, which have already been publicized by FCT and are available for consultation.
With this new initiative, FCT aims to support national institutions in submitting proposals, contributing to an increase in Portuguese participation in Horizon Europe.
