Projects in collaboration with ALBA

The Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (ALBA) is receiving, until January 25, proposals for collaboration projects between Portuguese research centers or universities and scientific areas of ALBA (Spain). This action arises under the Collaboration Agreement between FCT and ALBA, established in February 2019, and was recently announced at the scientific meeting held last December 17.

The agreement between FCT and ALBA aims to promote scientific collaboration between the two countries, in the spirit of improving scientific and technical exchange, developing common projects and facilitating access to scientific instrumentation in institutions considered by both scientific communities. This agreement created the conditions for collaboration and the various lines of possible activities, among which is the creation of a joint Post Doctoral Program that includes the funding of 4 Portuguese post-doctoral researchers, in the ALBA infrastructure, who will be involved in collaborative projects between Portuguese research centers or universities and ALBA scientific areas.
