FCT in Numbers

The FCT provides access to its instrument management databases and to the main indicators of implementation of the various grants awarded, reinforcing the FCT's commitment to the principles of transparency, integrity, and informed participation by society, in line with the logic of open data in the public sector.

With the development and progressive consolidation of information systems at FCT, it is possible to provide access to its management information, as well as its reuse, benefiting citizens, government institutions, the business sector, and academic research. This initiative thus seeks to increase the community's levels of trust through transparency in the management of resources that belong to everyone.

The FCT provides dynamic reports in PowerBI (beta version) with up-to-date information on the main funding programs for the scientific community and the FCT's financial performance. In particular, this page provides data on Studentships , scientific employment, R&D institutions, and research projects.
