"GSF - Global Science Forum

The FCT is Portugal's Delegation to the "GSF - Global Science Forum", a working group of the OECD's Committee on Scientific and Technological Policy (CSTP).

FCT's participation in the GSF, in addition to the responsibilities of national representation, has ensured participation in various projects/expert groups (some of whose results have already been published) with emphasis on:

• "GSF/OECD Citizen science: policies to promote citizen engagement in the production of scientific knowledge" (April 2025)
• "GSF/OECD Promoting diverse career pathways for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers" (September 2023)
• "GSF/OECD Reducing the Precarity of Academic Research Careers" (May 2021)
