“GSF – Global Science Forum”

The FCT represents Portugal inthe Global Science Forum (GSF), a working group of the OECD's Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy (CSTP).

In addition to its national representation responsibilities, FCT's participation in the GSF has ensured its involvement in several projects/expert groups (some of whose results have already been published), notably:

• “GSF/OECD Citizen science: policies to promote citizen engagement in the production of scientific knowledge” (April 2025)
• “GSF/OECD Promoting diverse career pathways for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers” (September 2023)
• “GSF/OECD Reducing the Precariousness of Academic Research Careers” (May 2021)
