Research Data Management and Sharing
The context of digital transformation has contributed to the growing relevance of research data. Similarly, the practice and principles of Open Science have been promoting the openness, sharing and reuse of research data, particularly those resulting from publicly funded research, contributing to greater confidence in science and a greater capacity to address global challenges.
FCT encourages researchers to adopt good research data management practices and to share their results with the scientific community. In this sense, FCT has adopted a policy on the availability of data and other results of scientific research funded by FCT, which came into force in May 2014.
