Research Data Management and Sharing
The context of digital transformation has contributed to the growing relevance of research data. Similarly, the practice and principles of Open Science have been promoting the openness, sharing, and reuse of research data, particularly those resulting from publicly funded research, contributing to greater trust in science and a greater capacity to address global challenges.
The FCT encourages researchers to adopt good practices in research data management and to share their results with the scientific community. To this end, the FCT adopted a policy on the availability of data and other results from scientific research funded by the FCT, which came into force in May 2014.
