Research Data Management and Sharing
The context of digital transformation has contributed to the growing relevance of research data. Similarly, the practice and principles of Open Science have been promoting the opening up, sharing and reuse of research data, particularly that resulting from publicly funded research, contributing to greater confidence in science and a greater ability to tackle global challenges.
FCT encourages researchers to adopt good research data management practices and to share their results with the scientific community. To this end, FCT has adopted a policy on the availability of data and other results of scientific research funded by FCT, which came into force in May 2014.
